  • In response to the Yamaha YZF-R6’s loss in power for 2009 due to changing emissions regulations, the boys in blue have tuned the 2010 model to try and get that power back. To achieve this, Yamaha “optimized the intake funnels and airbox”, while the diameter of the exhaust pipe is changed and the muffler is 100mm longer. Mated to this is a revised ECU. All is said to give improved performance in the low- to mid-range while maintaining its current high rpm performance.

East Coast Motorcycle Riders is a privately owned, privately run, publicly visible group of forums based and catering for riders around the East Coast of Australia.

75 % of all Australian riders live on the east side of the Great Dividing Range, this forum intends to cater to YOU the East Coast Rider.

Subsequently access to ECMRF is on an area basis only, specifically ...... you must be a motorcycle rider / or partner of one based on the East Coast of Australia (east of the Great Dividing Range), persons outside this area may at times be admitted on an invitation basis only.

All prospective registering members are advised that all IP addresses are checked and verified as being within the required area. If you are within our target area and happy to proceed then please take time to read our FORUM RULES it is an essential part of what we as a group are about, then feel free to look around inside , we will then be happy if you return and register as a member.

Please note whilst the forum is heavily Queensland influenced and is frequented by a large number of Buell owners (a prolific bike in Sth East Qld) do not let this deter you, East Coast is a friendly family oriented forum and all makes of bikes are welcome.
